Six months after their initial surprise release, Hayley Williams and producer Daniel James are back with Power Snatch's highly anticipated EP2. This new four-song collection, featuring tracks like 'Machete,' 'New Legs,' 'Born Dead,' and 'Hell Is a Highway,' showcases a distinct Nineties alt-rock influence.
Williams' vocals are a powerful force on EP2, blending with discordant yet dreamy instrumentals and potent lyrics. The band amplified the surprise drop by pairing the lead track, 'Machete,' with a surreal clip from the 1973 animated film 'Fantastic Planet.'
This follows Williams' recent solo endeavors, including her 2025 album 'Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party' and a cover of Judee Sill's 'Lopin' Along Thru the Cosmos' with Florence Welch and Jack Antonoff in December 2025. She also recently concluded her first solo tour, which included a guest appearance by Noah Kahan in April 2026.
Williams is set to embark on another tour, 'The Hayley Williams Show,' across North and Latin America from September 3 to November 27, 2026. This trek, beginning in West Palm Beach, Florida, and concluding in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will feature support from Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty on North American dates, and Annie DiRusso for the Latin American leg.
