DWTS Pros Hayley & Derek Hough: Baby Everley Joins Tour!

Professional dancer Hayley Hough has not ruled out a return to the popular television show Dancing with the Stars. She last performed on the show in 2025, following an emergency craniectomy. Hayley noted that while many fellow dancers return after having children, her husband Derek Hough's current position as a judge could create a conflict of interest.

Derek Hough playfully suggested he would be overly critical if scoring his wife, admitting he might give very low marks. For now, the new parents, Derek and Hayley, are concentrating on their upcoming Encore dance tour, scheduled to begin in June 2026. Notably, they will be accompanied by their daughter, Everley, who was born on December 29, 2025.

Hayley expressed that while having a baby on tour will be an "interesting" experience, she cannot imagine it any other way. She explained that prior to Everley's arrival, her career aspirations were unclear because her deepest desire was to become a mother. Now that her wish has been fulfilled, she aims to "relish" in motherhood and will address work commitments later, with a desire to continue dancing.

Regarding their daughter's future in dance, both Derek and Hayley are open to the possibility, though they emphasize it's not a requirement. Derek highlighted the benefits of dance for coordination and confidence, while Hayley shared anecdotes of children of dancers who either embrace or reject the art form, indicating an uncertain path for Everley.
