Hayden Christensen's Daughter Makes Red Carpet Debut

Hayden Christensen was accompanied by his 11-year-old daughter, Briar Rose Christensen, for her red carpet debut at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opening on September 19. Briar, whose mother is actress Rachel Bilson, posed with her father, who was seen wearing a Lucasfilm t-shirt. Christensen and Bilson began dating in 2007 and welcomed Briar in October 2014. Though they ended their relationship permanently in 2017, they maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship.

Despite their public careers, Christensen and Bilson have generally kept Briar out of the spotlight. Bilson shared in a 2021 podcast that their daughter has expressed interest in acting but that they aim to shield her from the industry at her current age. Christensen himself revealed in 2023 that Briar has not yet seen the Star Wars movies, explaining his reluctance for her to view certain intense scenes at her age.
