The extensive collection of paranormal researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren has officially relocated from Monroe, Connecticut, to Salem, Massachusetts. The new Haunted Warren Museum, located at 259 Essex St., will feature over 1,000 artifacts across 13 exhibits. Among the items on display are the world-famous Annabelle doll, "The Conjuring" mirror, and relics linked to infamous true crime figures.
This move marks a significant shift for the collection, which was previously housed privately. The museum will offer one-hour, self-guided flashlight tours, with tickets costing $49.99. Due to high interest, tickets for the initial opening days have been largely sold out. The museum is accessible to individuals aged 12 and older, with specific guardian requirements for those under 18. Phone and recording devices are prohibited within the museum.
The collection, established by the Warrens in 1952 alongside the New England Society of Paranormal Research, has amassed global haunted artifacts. This new Salem location is a temporary arrangement, with the museum scheduled to operate until Christmas. Updates on the collection's future are expected later. Previous plans involved leasing items to new owners of the Warrens' Monroe home in 2025.
