Harvest Hill Entertainment, founded by Jake Weiner, has announced the signing of several key creative talents for full representation. Among the new clients is showrunner April Blair, known for creating Netflix's 'Ransom Canyon,' which is scheduled for its second season premiere on July 23. Blair also has a history with Weiner, having been his first client during his time at Benderspink.
Joining Blair are writer-directors Michael Yuchen Lei and Mina Rhodes, along with writer-director-actor Nick Funess. Yuchen Lei is an award-winning filmmaker whose documentary 'A Taste of Sky' premiered at Tribeca, and his latest short, 'Mushroom Dad,' received critical acclaim. Rhodes is recognized for her cult sci-fi film 'The Gulf of Silence' and is developing a horror epic. Funess recently released the festival-acclaimed films 'Young Blondes, Stalked and Murdered' and 'The Hedonist.'
Weiner launched Harvest Hill Entertainment in February after a 25-year partnership with Chris Bender. The company's production slate includes upcoming projects from director David Robert Mitchell. The new signings represent a significant expansion for Harvest Hill's management and production capabilities.
