Hogwarts Returns: All-New Harry Potter TV Show Announced

The beloved Harry Potter saga is set to be reimagined as a television series, with each of the seven books receiving a dedicated season. This expansive adaptation promises a deeper exploration of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world, exceeding the scope of the film adaptations.
The new series aims to bring the entire story of Harry Potter to life over approximately a decade. The first season, based on 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,' will feature eight episodes, each expected to run between 50 to 70 minutes.
Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod are attached to direct and produce. J.K. Rowling is also involved in the project. The cast will feature new actors, including Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Nick Frost will play Hagrid, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Snape, and Janet McTeer as McGonagall.
