Summary
- Film earned less than £250,000 in its opening weekend.
- Cookie Queens did not reach the top ten releases after launch.
- The documentary celebrates girlhood and Girl Scout cookie season.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's latest film project, Cookie Queens, has unfortunately experienced a subdued performance at the US box office. Released on August 7th in 446 cinemas, the Archewell Productions documentary, which focuses on the Girl Scout experience, garnered less than £250,000 in its opening weekend.
This initial earning placed Cookie Queens outside the top ten releases, with even a compilation of "world's best cat videos" outperforming it. While industry sources have described the return as "pitiful," the independent distributor, Roadside Attractions, stated they were "encouraged" by the opening, noting positive reception among Girl Scout groups.
The 91-minute film, described as a "celebration of girlhood," delves into the joys and pressures associated with the cherished ritual of Girl Scout Cookie season. Meghan, a former Girl Scout, attended the Sundance Film Festival in January to promote the film, highlighting its modern portrayal of the girlhood experience and its potential to inspire young leaders.
