Harris Dickinson, fresh from his directorial debut "Urchin" winning at Cannes, is expanding his behind-the-camera work. His production company, Devisio Pictures, co-founded with Archie Pearch, has partnered with Long Holiday to produce Pasqual Gutierrez's upcoming comedy, "One of Us."
"One of Us" follows Gutierrez's critically acclaimed 2025 Sundance premiere, "Serious People." While specific plot and casting remain under wraps, the new film is touted as an absurd comedy and a spiritual successor to "Serious People," loosely inspired by Gutierrez's life.
Gutierrez will direct and appear alongside his real-life partner Christine Yuan and their toddler, Echo Gutierrez. Production is scheduled to commence this summer. This project marks Devisio Pictures' second feature, following the success of "Urchin."
