Motwani Divorce: Nancy James Denies 'Fake World' Jab

Hansika Motwani has officially initiated divorce proceedings against her husband, Sohael Kathuriya, in March 2026. The couple, who married in December 2022, had reportedly been living separately since July 2, 2024, citing significant differences in temperaments, opinions, and lifestyles. Their separation follows approximately one and a half years of marriage.

Following reports of Hansika's divorce, her ex-sister-in-law, Muskaan Nancy James, addressed speculation that her social media posts were directed at the actress. Muskaan issued a statement on March 13, 2026, requesting not to be associated with "someone else's absolutely fake world." She emphasized her lack of paid PR and stated that time would reveal the truth.

Muskaan's clarification comes after cryptic Instagram stories circulated, which many interpreted as commentary on Hansika's situation. Muskaan was previously married to Hansika's brother, Prashant Motwani. Later, Muskaan filed a police complaint against Prashant, Hansika, and their mother, Jyoti Motwani, under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to cruelty and intimidation.

Hansika's divorce filing with Sohael Kathuriya is by mutual consent, with no alimony claims. Both parties have confirmed no claims against each other. Their attempts at reconciliation, supported by family and friends, were unsuccessful, leading to their decision to live apart.
