Microsoft has unveiled new details for Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the iconic campaign mode. This highly anticipated title is scheduled for release on July 28th, available across Xbox Series S/X, PC, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Campaign Evolved promises a significant visual upgrade with stunning 4K visuals, refreshed animations, and re-recorded voice lines. The remake also introduces three new prequel missions that expand the Halo lore.
In addition to graphical enhancements, players will enjoy updated gameplay features. Weapons like the energy sword and battle rifle from later Halo titles will be integrated. The game will offer both two-player local split-screen co-op and up to four-player online co-op experiences.
