Hallie Aiono, former girlfriend of Los Angeles Rams player Puka Nacua, has shared her journey of healing after public comments about her personal life allegedly led to suicidal thoughts. Aiono, 25, stated that during a vulnerable period while preparing to welcome their son, three former NFL players discussed her on their podcast, describing her in a "disgusting and viral way" and labeling her as promiscuous.

She recounted discovering the podcast discussion around July 2025 and feeling an overwhelming despair, questioning her will to live. Aiono claims the podcast amplified rumors and subjected her to intense public scrutiny without understanding her circumstances or lack of necessary support. She reiterated that she was faithful to Nacua throughout their relationship.

Aiono filed a paternity petition against Nacua last July, seeking confirmation of his fatherhood for their son, Kingston, who was born in October 2025. She described the eight minutes of discussion on "The Pivot" podcast as a significant factor in her darkest moments.
