Halle Berry was recently observed with her 12-year-old son, Maceo, in Los Angeles. This public appearance follows accusations made by her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, who alleged that Berry had physically abused their child. Martinez's filing claimed Berry jumped on Maceo and choked him during a dispute over a virtual reality headset, with Berry's fiancé, Van Hunt, allegedly present.

Responding to these allegations, Berry's attorney, Marina Beck, issued a statement asserting that the claims are "entirely meritless" and "deliberately misleading." Beck highlighted Martinez's alleged history of violating court orders and interfering with the child's well-being, stating that Martinez has faced legal sanctions for such conduct.

The family is navigating a contentious custody battle. Following a prior 50/50 custody agreement reached in August 2023, Berry sought primary custody in 2024, citing Martinez's alleged refusal to co-parent effectively. She currently pays $8,000 monthly in child support.
