Halle Berry is set to captivate audiences in a new psychological thriller, taking on the role of a New York housewife who escapes her marriage and America to start anew in Paris. In the French capital, she reinvents herself as Fleur, an upscale escort and dominatrix. The feature film, directed by Ellie Foumbi, the visionary behind "Our Father, The Devil," commenced shooting in Paris.
Berry is also co-producing the film through her HalleHolly production company, alongside Christine Vachon's Killer Films and Gabriel Mayers' Plot Twist Pictures. AGC Studios is financing and co-producing the project, with Stuart Ford serving as an executive producer.
Victor Hadida's Davis Films has secured the French distribution rights, planning to release the film through Metropolitan Filmexport. AGC International is managing worldwide sales, with co-representation for U.S. rights handled by UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent.
The film's director, Ellie Foumbi, previously garnered acclaim at the Tribeca film festival in 2022 for her debut, "Our Father, The Devil," a psychological thriller that delves into confronting past traumas. The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts and Marton Csokas, known for their roles in various acclaimed films and upcoming projects.
