Her latest venture is lending her voice to the lead character, Billie Doe, in Walt Disney Animation Studios' upcoming film 'Hexed,' scheduled for release this Thanksgiving.

Steinfeld described the experience of working on 'Hexed' as a "dream come true," noting she began the project while pregnant and completed it after her baby's birth. She portrays Billie, a "rebellious, unconventional teen" who discovers she is a witch with magical powers, in what she calls a "magical coming of age story and a story of self-discovery."

Professionally, Steinfeld's 2025 film 'Sinners' garnered a record 16 Academy Award nominations, ultimately winning four awards. She also contributed the track "Dangerous" to the film's soundtrack.
