The Hollywood Reporter announced that on December 3, 2025, Academy Award-winning actress and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow will receive the prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award during the publication's annual Women in Entertainment breakfast gala in Los Angeles. The acclaimed event, attended by 600 industry leaders and VIPs, returns to The Beverly Hills Hotel for the third consecutive year.
Paltrow, a founder, CEO, investor and Oscar-winning artist, is being recognized for her multifaceted career and impact. As the founder and CEO of goop, she has scaled a weekly newsletter into a nine-figure global lifestyle platform that has redefined the modern consumer landscape. Under her leadership, goop has launched multiple category-defining brands across commerce, content, beauty, wellness, food and fashion.
Onscreen, Paltrow is an acclaimed actress with credits including Shakespeare in Love, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, as well as The Royal Tenenbaums, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and the Marvel Iron Man franchise. As a seasoned investor, her portfolio spans more than 80 companies, including early entries into Uber, Pinterest, and Sweetgreen.
The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, established in honor of the first woman to head a Hollywood studio, recognizes trailblazers and philanthropists in entertainment and media. Past recipients include Nicole Kidman, Adele, and Oprah Winfrey.
