Gujarati Horror Sequel Vash Level 2 Shatters Box Office Expectations
27 Sep, 2025
Summary
- Vash Level 2 earns 13.54 crore, recovering its 8 crore budget
- Sequel outperforms predecessor by 357%
- Sets box office targets for Shaitaan 2 sequel

In 2025, the Gujarati film Vash Level 2 has concluded its theatrical run with strong box office performance. The horror sequel, directed by Janaki Bodiwala, was mounted on a budget of 8 crore and managed to earn 13.54 crore net in India. This allowed the film to recover its entire budget and generate a profit of 69.25% at the box office.
While Vash Level 2 missed the "hit" verdict by falling short of the 16 crore target, the film has still set some major benchmarks for the upcoming Shaitaan 2 sequel. The Vash sequel is the second-highest-grossing Gujarati film of the year, trailing only Umbarro's 14.69 crore. More impressively, Vash Level 2 earned 357% higher than its predecessor, Vash Part 1, which had collected 2.95 crore. For Shaitaan 2 to match this feat, it would need to earn around 690 crore, a towering task.
Additionally, Vash Level 2's worldwide gross collection of 15.97 crore has also placed it among the all-time top 10 highest-grossing Gujarati films. However, the Hindi Shaitaan 2 will face an uphill battle to enter the all-time top 10 Hindi grossers, with the current 10th highest-grossing Hindi film, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava, earning 827.06 crore worldwide.
