Louise Fletcher's Risqué Gift to Co-Star Revealed

Actor Guillermo Díaz reminisced about a unique piece of memorabilia from the 1996 film High School High. While filming the comedy thriller, Díaz received a distinctive gift from his co-star, Louise Fletcher. Fletcher, renowned for her role as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, sent Díaz an autographed photograph.

This black-and-white photo captured Fletcher topless, with her iconic nurse hat still on, turned over her shoulder. Díaz described it as one of his favorite possessions. Fletcher's portrayal of Nurse Ratched had earned her an Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe. She later joined the cast of High School High, a movie about a history teacher moving to an inner-city school.

Díaz confirmed he still has the photograph of Fletcher, who passed away in September 2022. He also noted that booking the role in High School High was significant, but the film Half Baked, released two years later, marked a major turning point, leading to increased recognition for his career.
