On October 20th, 2025, the norteño-cumbia band Grupo Frontera released their highly anticipated third album, "Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar." The album, which follows their 2023 debut "El Comienzo" and 2024's "Jugando a Que No Pasa Nada," showcases the band's growth and versatility, blending their signature joyful energy with a more introspective and honest exploration of heartbreak.
The 12-track LP features collaborations with artists like Myke Towers, Tito Double P, Cris MJ, and Los Dareyes de la Sierra, as the band dared to experiment with new sounds while staying true to their roots. "This is a very special album for us," the band said in a statement. "It reflects everything we've lived—from heartbreak to celebration—and we wanted each song to tell a different emotion."
To celebrate the album's release, Grupo Frontera is set to make their Grand Ole Opry debut next month, marking a significant milestone in their career. The band has already released two singles from the album, "No Lo Ves" featuring Ozuna and the album closer "Lalala," which they performed at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on October 24th, 2025.
