Gromit, the discerning canine companion to Wallace, is stepping into the spotlight with his very own autobiography. Titled "Grand: The Autobiography of Gromit," this forthcoming memoir sees the usually silent pup breaking his silence to share his life's adventures.
Presented as Wallace's tale, the book's synopsis humorously notes that Gromit is telling his story until Wallace finishes his book-building machine. Gromit promises to reveal what goes on "behind my eyes" and where "all the bones are buried." The book is slated for release on October 27th.
Creator Nick Park enthusiastically announced Gromit's decision to "put pen to paper, paw to keyboard." He described the memoir as offering "doggy nuggets and wisdom to chew on," detailing their shared life, affections, and passions. The Wallace & Gromit franchise, which began with "A Grand Day Out" in 1989, has spawned numerous films, TV adaptations, and more.
The autobiography will be published by Penguin Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House. Preorders for "Grand: The Autobiography of Gromit" are currently open, with the book officially hitting shelves on October 27th.
