In the upcoming film 'Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere', actor Jeremy Allen White's portrayal of Bruce Springsteen spends much of his time brooding over the songs that would become the iconic 'Nebraska' album. However, when Springsteen needs a break, he heads to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park to jam with the house band, which just so happens to feature members of rising rock acts Greta Van Fleet and Rival Sons.
This connection was facilitated by producer Dave Cobb, who has worked with the likes of Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile. Cobb, who served as the soundtrack producer for the film, also produced Greta Van Fleet's recent album and several releases by Rival Sons. When the director was looking for a 'young, hip rock 'n' roll band' for the Stone Pony scenes, Cobb immediately suggested bringing in Greta Van Fleet.
