Gregg Wallace is selling his £1 million Kent home following his departure from the BBC. The television presenter announced his decision on Instagram, stating he can no longer live the life he once did after an investigation into workplace misconduct allegations. Wallace explained his move is motivated by a desire for a slower pace of life and to ensure financial security for his younger wife and their son, Sid, who has autism.

Wallace intends to sell his large home and purchase a more modest one, aiming to work less and potentially spend half the year in Italy. He is also pursuing a new career as an autism coach, inspired by his son's diagnosis. This venture follows other online activities, including personalized video messages and promotional work.

The investigation by the BBC led to 45 upheld allegations against Wallace, which he contested, even initiating a lawsuit for data disclosure before discontinuing the claim. He described the investigation process as not legally sound and criticized the encouragement for anyone with a grievance to come forward. The majority of substantiated complaints reportedly occurred before 2018.
