Greg Vaughan Joins 'Beyond the Gates' as Feisty Doctor

Greg Vaughan, celebrated for his role as Eric Brady on 'Days of Our Lives,' has made a dramatic entrance into Fairmont Crest with his debut on 'Beyond the Gates.' He embodies Dr. Kial Roberts, an orthopedic surgeon with a reputation for ruffling feathers and stirring the pot. Vaughan shared his initial apprehension about the role, citing the unfamiliar medical terminology, but found a surprising comfort in portraying an orthopedic specialist due to his personal experiences as a father of three active sons.

The character of Dr. Kial Roberts is portrayed as a nomadic widower, constantly moving from hospital to hospital. Vaughan explained that while Roberts never stays in one place for too long, he always makes his presence strongly felt. The new doctor is also set to find a love interest in Fairmont Crest, with hints of chemistry already apparent between Roberts and Nicole. Vaughan confirmed that romance is indeed blossoming for his character.

This new chapter for Vaughan also brings to mind his previous role as Diego Gutierrez on 'The Young and the Restless' from 2002 to 2003. When asked about a potential return to that character, Vaughan expressed openness, though he questioned if the character would still be remembered after two decades. His arrival on 'Beyond the Gates' promises significant developments and intrigue for viewers.
