Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Greg Mendez is set to release his latest album, 'Beauty Land,' on May 29. This marks his first full-length record with Dead Oceans since signing in 2024. The album, recorded in Mendez's home studio in Pennsylvania, explores profound themes of grief, love, and addiction, serving as a follow-up to his 2023 self-titled release.
The lead single, 'I Wanna Feel Pretty,' has been unveiled along with a music video directed by Rhys Scarabosio. Mendez described the video's aesthetic as reflecting the feeling of a hollow American Dream found in suburban landscapes.
Following the album's release, Mendez will commence a comprehensive North American tour. He will be joined by artists Maria BC and Scarlet Rae for the tour, which includes numerous stops across the United States and two performances in Canada.
