Kelsey Grammer's Daughter Fights 'Nepo Baby' Label

Greer Grammer, daughter of television icon Kelsey Grammer, has recently addressed misconceptions about her acting career. She asserts that her success is not a result of her father's fame, stating she was estranged from him for much of her youth. Greer revealed on a podcast that she didn't truly know her father until she was 16.

Her parents split shortly after her birth, leading to years of distance. A chance encounter at a Christmas tree lot when she was 16 initiated their reconnection. Greer, who was Miss Teen Malibu in 2008, has since built her own resume with roles in "Awkward," "The Goldbergs," and "Deadly Illusions."

Greer also appeared in the "Frasier" revival, playing Alice, the daughter of Roz Doyle. Despite these roles, she maintains that her accomplishments are independent of her famous father, with whom she is still navigating their past estrangement through therapy.
