- The festival will take a hiatus in 2027 to facilitate the move.

The cherished Greenbelt Festival, a celebration of arts and faith, will be moving from its longtime home at Boughton House near Kettering. The festival has graced the grounds of the stately home since 2014.
From 2028, the Greenbelt Festival will operate from a new location. To facilitate this significant transition, the festival plans to take a hiatus throughout 2027. This break will allow organizers to secure and prepare an alternative venue.
Rev Kate Bottley, a trustee, highlighted the picturesque nature of Boughton House but pointed to its insufficient infrastructure. The necessity of bringing in all water and generators made the event more costly than it needed to be, prompting the search for a more equipped site.
