Grease 2 Star Prioritizes Grandparenting Over Acting Commitments

In a recent interview, veteran actress Michelle Pfeiffer, best known for her role in the 1982 film Grease 2, revealed that she has become a first-time grandmother. The 67-year-old three-time Oscar nominee, who shares two children with her husband David E. Kelley, said this new role has significantly impacted her approach to her acting career.

Pfeiffer explained that she now has less time and desire to commit to extensive acting projects, as she wants to be more present in her grandchild's life. "I don't have time nor the desire to go that deep for that long and not be present," she said on the September 29th episode of the SmartLess podcast. Pfeiffer added that she has been "very quiet" about her grandchild, but described the experience as "heaven" and "ridiculous."

While the actress didn't disclose which of her two children welcomed a baby, she made it clear that her role as a grandmother is now her top priority, even more so than her acclaimed acting career. Pfeiffer's shift in focus reflects her desire to savor the joys of this new chapter in her life and spend quality time with her grandchild.
