Kej, who was born in North Carolina, USA, in 1981 and later relocated to Bengaluru as a child, has had an impressive career. After earning a bachelor's degree in dentistry, he fully committed to his passion for music, founding his own studio, Raveolution, in 2003. Over the years, Kej has released 24 studio albums and composed music for over 3,500 commercials and eight feature films.
Kej's achievements extend beyond his musical prowess. He has been recognized as a UN Global Humanitarian Artist and was appointed as a UN Goodwill Ambassador (UNCCD) in 2023 for his efforts in raising awareness on issues such as land degradation, desertification, and drought. In 2025, Kej was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor, for his contributions to the arts.
