Grace Gummer has secured a series regular role in an upcoming Apple TV+ thriller, starring alongside Dakota Fanning. This untitled project hails from Alex Cary, known for his work on "A Spy Among Friends" and "Homeland."
The series features Dakota Fanning as a Treasury agent tasked with infiltrating a vast international conglomerate. Her mission becomes complicated as she questions the morality of her target, the heir to this powerful entity.
Gummer will portray Juliana, the eldest daughter of Stellan Skarsgård's character, Brant, who leads the conglomerate. Daryl McCormack is also slated to appear in the show.
Alex Cary serves as creator and showrunner, executive producing under his overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. The production team also includes Julie Gardner, Dakota and Elle Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, and Kari Skogland, who is directing.
Gummer's recent acclaimed performance as Caroline Kennedy in FX's "Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette" earned her an Ensemble Tribute at the Gotham TV Awards. Her past credits include "Mr. Robot," "Dr. Death," "American Horror Story," and "The Newsroom."
