Govinda and Sunita's Heartbreaking Past Revealed

Actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja experienced a deeply traumatic period when they lost their infant daughter. This child, born prematurely after their first daughter Tina, passed away at just three months old because her lungs were not fully developed. The loss profoundly affected the couple, and it took them many years to recover from this painful event.

In a past interview, Govinda recalled the immense difficulty of carrying his lifeless daughter. He shared an incident where, while en route to immerse his baby's body in a river as per his mother's instructions, he encountered a beggar woman. Upon seeing the deceased infant, the woman fled in apparent shock, a moment that left Govinda feeling like a beggar himself.

Sunita Ahuja also spoke about the impact of this loss on their family. She explained that their son Yash, born eight years after Tina, was somewhat pampered. This overprotectiveness stemmed from the fear and trauma experienced after losing their second child. Sunita admitted to cocooning Yash due to her past fears, leading to him having his wishes fulfilled.
