Gordon-Levitt Directs Star-Studded Netflix AI Film

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is taking the helm of a new AI thriller for Netflix, set to commence production this summer. The film, which landed with the streamer last October, boasts an impressive cast.

Joining Rachel McAdams are acclaimed actors Jeff Daniels and Joel Edgerton, alongside rising stars Caleb McLaughlin and Nnamdi Asomugha. Gordon-Levitt, a vocal advocate for artificial intelligence, also co-wrote the screenplay with Kieran Fitzgerald.

This project signifies a return to Netflix for Daniels, who recently starred in the limited series 'A Man In Full'. Edgerton, who garnered significant praise for his Sundance film 'Train Dreams', also has a past success with the streamer, which acquired his film that later received an Oscar nomination.

McLaughlin is fresh off the finale of the popular Netflix series 'Stranger Things'. Asomugha brings recent experience from projects like 'The Knife' and 'The Good Nurse'. Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman are producing the film through their T-Street Productions banner.
