Last month, the music launch of the highly anticipated multilingual film 'Koragajja' took place in Mangalore with great fanfare. Directed by Sudheer Attavar and produced by Trivikram Cinemas and Success Films, the film marks the first cinematic portrayal of Koragajja, a revered coastal Karnataka deity symbolizing truth and protection.
The event, hosted by actress and influencer Ekta Jain, introduced the film's music composed by acclaimed musician Gopi Sundar. All the songs are written by Attavar, a Sahitya Akademi Award winner. The film is made in six languages - Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Tulu - and features a stellar cast led by Bollywood icon Kabir Bedi as the King of Udyavara, along with Bhavya and Shruthi in key roles.
The launch drew notable personalities from across India, and the album's 31 songs, sung by renowned vocalists like Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Javed Ali, received strong praise. 'Koragajja' aims to blend cultural storytelling with nationwide appeal, showcasing the rich heritage of coastal Karnataka.
