The entrance to Nottingham's Forest Recreation Ground saw bollards removed as large lorries arrived for the annual Goose Fair. A dedicated group of enthusiasts, cameras in hand, gathered to document the unique "pull-on" process – the arrival and assembly of rides and equipment.
This event is considered a highlight of the year for many, attracting enthusiasts who travel from across the country. Graham Ciborski described the scene as "just the craziest pull-on" and "the best one to watch." He is part of a growing community of content creators, like Cibbie Vlogs, who focus exclusively on funfairs.
These creators' videos, documenting events like the centuries-old Goose Fair, are watched by tens of thousands. Guy Belshaw of the Fairground Heritage Trust likened these enthusiasts to train spotters, emphasizing their role in preserving fairground heritage for "generations to come."
