Summary
- A rock band faces Hell after a stage accident.
- They must return before their bodies die on Earth.
- The series is a supernatural adventure and rock satire.

Set to debut on October 30, 'Gone to Hell' is a new Canadian adult animation exploring a world-famous rock band's journey to the underworld. The eight-episode series, produced by Banger Films, centers on the band Demon Destroyer, whose members are sent to Hell after a fatal stage mishap in 1994.
Remarkably, the band members are not deceased but comatose on Earth. An obscure underworld rule, the Coma Clause, allows them a chance to return if they reach the Gates of Hell before their record label terminates life support. Their underworld experience is a unique blend of supernatural adventure and satirical commentary.
This quirky version of Hell is populated by eccentric characters and governed by Dev, an egomaniacal figure with aspirations for fame. The series features a voice cast including Paul Spence as frontman Rick Fashun and Chris Locke as Dev. Co-creators Brian Peco and Craig Mailman aimed to capture the spirit of classic Saturday morning cartoons, creating a world with unique, handcrafted aesthetics that Peco describes as the opposite of 'AI slop'.
