Goldie Hawn, 80, and Kurt Russell recently graced the sixth Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, marking a rare red carpet appearance for the long-time couple. Hawn stunned in an Old Hollywood-inspired black velvet gown with vintage gloves and a statement gold necklace, her blonde hair styled in a bouncy blowout. Russell complemented her elegance in a classic black tuxedo.

The couple, who have been together since Valentine's Day 1983, were joined by their daughter, Kate Hudson, who also walked the red carpet. Hudson was elegant in a strapless champagne gown adorned with crystal embellishments.

Hawn has previously spoken about her decision not to marry Russell, explaining that she values her independence and freedom, comparing herself to a bird with an open cage door. She believes not being married has contributed to their lasting relationship.

Russell and Hawn divide their time between homes in Los Angeles and Colorado, also owning properties in New York City and Palm Desert, California. Their favorite retreat is a log cabin in Colorado, which Kurt built, serving as a central gathering place for family holidays and New Year's Eve parties.
