Gleb Savchenko's Ex Seeks Help to Find Daughter

Elena Samodanova, the ex-wife of "Dancing with the Stars" dancer Gleb Savchenko, has requested assistance from Hong Kong's Department of Justice to locate her teenage daughter, Olivia. The case has been forwarded to a California District Attorney's office as U.S. authorities are now working to find Gleb and 15-year-old Olivia.

Olivia reportedly arrived in Los Angeles on May 29 and was scheduled to return to Hong Kong on July 9. Elena provided an email allegedly showing Gleb's agreement to this date, but Olivia never returned home. Elena claims Olivia's Hong Kong phone is inactive, and she has been unable to obtain her daughter's new number, only being able to communicate via Instagram.

Gleb Savchenko has stated that Olivia wishes to stay with him and attend a school in Los Angeles. He is seeking temporary custody and has accused Elena of attempting to wrongfully keep Olivia and their younger daughter, Zlata, in Hong Kong. Elena denies these claims, maintaining that Hong Kong is the girls' permanent residence and is asking a California judge to prevent Gleb from enrolling Olivia in a local school during the ongoing custody dispute.

A hearing concerning the custody battle is scheduled for August 18 in a California courtroom. In the interim, Elena Samodanova has indicated she does not know Gleb's current whereabouts.
