The SEC, including its renowned Hydro music venue, hosted approximately 150 live concerts. These featured major international artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Sabrina Carpenter, and Kylie Minogue, with the latter adding an extra date due to high demand. American star Benson Boone's spectacular production was highlighted as a major event.
The campus's success extends beyond ticket sales, with visitors contributing to Glasgow's hotels, bars, restaurants, and shops. Diverse events, from conferences to trade fairs, further bolstered the wider economy. Looking ahead, 2026 is anticipated to be the most successful year yet, with artists like Richard Ashcroft and Gorillaz scheduled to perform.
