LGBTQ Stars Honored at GLAAD Awards

This year's GLAAD Media Awards will honor prominent figures for their contributions to LGBTQ visibility and acceptance. Quinta Brunson, creator of "Abbott Elementary," is set to receive the GLAAD Vanguard Award for her dedicated allyship.
Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, co-hosts of the "Las Culturistas" podcast, will be presented with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award. This honor acknowledges their significant efforts in increasing LGBTQ visibility and fostering acceptance of queer issues.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 5, 2026. A broadcast of the event will later be available for streaming on Hulu on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
In addition to these honorees, the event will feature appearances and performances by notable guests including U.S. Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn, comedian Zeke Smith, and actors Frankie Grande and Demi Lovato. "Abbott Elementary" and "Las Culturistas" also received nominations in their respective categories.
