Sara Bareilles Hopes for Girls5eva Film

Sara Bareilles remains hopeful for a cinematic continuation of the beloved series Girls5eva, which concluded its three-season run in 2024. She candidly shared her strong desire to revisit the role, suggesting that she and her fellow cast members would enthusiastically participate in a movie adaptation.

Bareilles expressed that the cast deeply valued their time on the show, indicating a collective willingness to return. She envisions a film inspired by the format of "Sex and the City," offering a definitive conclusion to the group's story.

The series, which aired from 2021 to 2024, followed the narrative of four women from a late 90s/early 2000s girl group who attempt a comeback as they navigate adulthood. The ensemble cast included Busy Philipps, Paula Pell, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Ashley Park alongside Bareilles.
