The romantic comedy drama 'Ginny Weds Sunny 2', featuring Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr, is experiencing a challenging run at the box office. Directed by Prasshant Jha, the film opened to mixed reviews and is struggling against competition from 'Dhurandhar 2' and 'Bhooth Bangla'.
On its second day, the movie garnered 57 lakh, a slight increase from its opening day collection of 25 lakh. This brings the total India net collection to 82 lakh. The film was allocated fewer screens compared to its competitors.
With a reported budget of 16 crore, 'Ginny Weds Sunny 2' has managed to recover only 5% of its investment. The current box office trend is described as poor, fueling concerns of a significant drop in collections during the weekdays. The film is unlikely to surpass the opening weekend collection of Avinash Tiwary's previous movie, 'Laila Majnu'.
