Gilla Band Returns with New Single & Epic Tour

Gilla Band has released their first new music in three years, a single titled 'Giraffe.' This release is accompanied by an inventive animated music video. The Dublin-based quartet also announced an expansive list of tour dates that will extend through 2027. The band, comprising Dara Kiely, Alan Duggan Borges, Daniel Fox, and Adam Faulkner, has been relatively quiet since concluding their tour for the 2022 album, 'Most Normal.' In 2023, they offered fans a standalone single, 'Sports Day.'

Vocalist Dara Kiely shared insights into the creation of 'Giraffe,' describing his mind as a 'scattered and sometimes lonely place.' He elaborated on the song's themes of feeling unloved and struggling with self-expression. The track's outro touches upon a difficult-to-believe confirmation of affection, highlighting his ongoing internal struggles.
