Gia Giudice, daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, has opened her Italian restaurant, Il Vero, in Westwood, New Jersey. The restaurant, which translates to "the truth," aims to carry on her family's strong Italian legacy. Giudice consulted her mother on menu selections, ensuring dishes met family standards.

Teresa's famous meatballs, known as "Joe's Juicy Meatballs" from her cookbook, are featured on Il Vero's menu and have become a significant draw, with customers raving about their rich flavor and quality ingredients. The restaurant quickly garnered attention, receiving 1,650 reservations within two hours of joining OpenTable and subsequently booking up through October.

Beyond the food, Giudice emphasized creating an "experience" for diners. Il Vero boasts a stunning interior design and a dynamic atmosphere that shifts throughout the evening. Weekends feature a DJ and dimmed lighting, transitioning the space into a lounge-like club vibe after 9 p.m. This evolving atmosphere inspired a no-children policy after 5 p.m., a decision Giudice has defended as bringing a different, adult-oriented energy to Westwood.

Giudice views restaurant management as a team effort, stressing the importance of customer satisfaction and urgency across all staff roles, from hostesses to bartenders and the kitchen. Her core lesson learned is to always prioritize making the customer happy, ensuring every team member is in sync for a seamless, fast-paced operation.
