The Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage is returning for its second season, set to premiere on October 16, 2025. The series, which follows the lives of Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment), wrapped up its freshman installment back in May 2025.
In the new season, Georgie and Mandy will continue to face challenges as they chart new professional paths. Georgie recently bought McAllister Auto & Tire from Mandy's father, Jim McAllister (Will Sasso), while Mandy accepted a promotion at work - one that puts her ex-boyfriend, Scott (Christopher Gorham), as her new boss. This new dynamic is sure to create some drama for the couple.
Meanwhile, Mandy's father, Jim, is struggling to adjust to life as a recent retiree. Recognizing this, Mandy and Georgie work to get Jim involved at the auto shop again, hoping it will help him find purpose. "Mandy and Jim have the tightest bond of that family, and I think especially when she sees him start to go a little bit off the rails with retirement, she's one of the pushing forces to get Georgie to maybe invite him back to work a little bit, and fill in," executive producer Steve Holland explained.
With Georgie and Mandy's professional lives in flux and Jim's retirement causing some family tension, season 2 of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage promises to deliver plenty of both laughs and drama for the beloved characters.
