George R.R. Martin is currently penning a fourth novella in his Dunk and Egg series, revealed Ira Parker, the showrunner for "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms." Parker shared that this upcoming book will feature a "very cool location," adding intrigue for fans.

The showrunner also discussed the potential longevity of the HBO adaptation, hoping it could extend to three, four, or even five seasons. He envisions the series growing with its lead actors, allowing for stories about their characters' entire lives. Martin has reportedly provided outlines for numerous future stories, suggesting ample material for the show.

While the release of Martin's highly anticipated "The Winds of Winter" remains uncertain, the focus on new Dunk and Egg stories signals continued activity in this corner of the Game of Thrones universe.
