George Clooney has reportedly scaled back his engagement with his former Hollywood social circle, with sources indicating a significant shift towards family life. The actor, once renowned for hosting numerous celebrity friends at his Italian villa, now dedicates more time to his wife, Amal Clooney, and their twins, Ella and Alexander.

This transition marks a departure from his previously social bachelor image. Since marrying Amal in 2014 and becoming a father in June 2017, Clooney has made substantial lifestyle adjustments. In 2021, the couple established France as their primary residence, purchasing a wine estate there for $8.3 million. They also sold their Studio City home in 2024 and own a manor in the UK.

Some reports suggest that a segment of Clooney's old friends attribute his reduced social interactions to Amal, with the perception that he is prioritizing his wife's preferences. These gatherings are said to increasingly include Amal's friends and professional associates, leading to a feeling among some of George's original companions that he has intentionally distanced himself from them.
