George Briner has announced his retirement from his presidential role at The Valory Music Co., marking the end of an illustrious career spanning over 18 years with the label and more than four decades in the country music industry. Briner's leadership at Valory was characterized by the successful release of numerous platinum and multi-platinum albums. He was also pivotal in developing and executing marketing and promotion strategies for a roster of notable artists, including Thomas Rhett, Justin Moore, and Sheryl Crow. Reflecting on his career, Briner expressed deep gratitude for the experiences and relationships forged since his start in 1984 as Promotion Director at KZLA/Los Angeles. He extended special thanks to his wife, Audra, for her unwavering support, and to the Valory and Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) families.
