In October 2025, a group of longtime friends and their families are gathering at a remote cabin following a funeral. However, their retreat takes a sinister turn when a killer starts hunting the group. Directed by Todd Berger (It's a Disaster) and written by Emmy-winning Daily Show writer Daniel Radosh, The Big Kill centers on this close-knit group as they are forced to confront the darkest elements of their past.
Produced by Live Nation Studios and MXN Entertainment, the horror comedy is described as blending "horror plus comedy set to '90s music" for a "resounding yes" from the Live Nation Studios team. Berger, who was inspired by the way Scream portrayed relatable protagonists, is excited to explore the lives of fellow Gen Xers dealing with mortgages, kids, and existential dread.
With a cast of both legacy horror actors and acclaimed comedians, The Big Kill promises to deliver both thrilling scares and sharp humor as the friends fight for survival against a mysterious killer in their remote cabin retreat.
