The spin-off series 'Gen V', set in the universe of 'The Boys', has concluded its run and will not receive a third season. Executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg confirmed the cancellation, assuring fans that the characters from 'Gen V' will be integrated into 'The Boys' Season 5 and other upcoming projects in the VCU.
The series, which aired its first season from September 29 to November 3, 2023, and its second season from September to October 2025, explored the lives of young superheroes at the fictional Godolkin University. While the show garnered significant viewership, opening its second season with 424 million minutes viewed, it will not continue as a standalone series.
The franchise, however, is set to expand. 'The Boys' is concluding its five-season run on May 20, with its fifth season expected to feature characters from 'Gen V'. Additionally, a new spin-off series titled 'Vought Rising' is slated for a 2027 debut, and 'The Boys: Mexico' is actively in development.
