Gemma Collins' Secret Wedding: April Fools' Prank Revealed

Gemma Collins, the former TOWIE star, recently sparked excitement among her 2.2 million Instagram followers by sharing a photo of herself in a wedding dress. She captioned the image suggesting she had secretly married her fiancé, Rami Hawash. However, this was revealed to be an elaborate April Fools' Day prank. Collins, 45, is indeed engaged to businessman Rami Hawash, 50, and they are planning to officially tie the knot later this year, with Collins expressing a desire for multiple ceremonies and wedding dresses.

The reality star’s engagement to Hawash follows a period of significant personal struggle. Collins recently opened up about her difficult IVF journey, which she described as leaving her 'broken' and impacting her relationship with Hawash. Her new Sky series, 'Four Weddings And A Baby,' is set to explore these challenges. She is already a step-mother to Hawash's seven-year-old son, Tristan.

Collins has been candid about her fertility battles, including a low AMH hormone count and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Her journey has been marked by profound heartbreak, including three miscarriages. Her first loss occurred in 2012, followed by another in 2020 during the Covid pandemic, and a third devastating miscarriage in July 2020.

Gemma and Rami first dated in 2011, eventually splitting in 2014 after a Christmas 2012 proposal. They rekindled their romance in 2020 after her split from TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent. In 2024, Rami proposed again, and they are set to marry this year.
