Summary
- Gemma Collins temporarily stopped Mounjaro due to a gallbladder attack.
- She has lost 3½ stone on the weight-loss injections.
- Collins plans to microdose the drug to manage weight and side effects.

Gemma Collins, the TOWIE personality, is now microdosing the weight-loss drug Mounjaro following a recent gallbladder attack that caused her significant pain. This decision comes after she successfully lost an impressive 3½ stone since starting the injections a year ago, reducing her dress size from 26 to 20. Despite the scare, Collins believes microdosing will allow her to manage her weight effectively while mitigating potential side effects.
Collins experienced excruciating pain in August, which was later diagnosed as gallstones. While a scan revealed the condition, she was assured it was not directly linked to Mounjaro. She has temporarily paused the medication and focused on her diet. However, she now intends to return to the drug in smaller, microdoses, a trend she feels will offer fewer adverse effects and help her remain trim.
The weekly injections have been described as life-changing by Collins, who has maintained her weight loss and feels healthier. She previously took the maximum dose but found her preferred dose to be 2.5mg, which she intends to stick with via microdosing. Collins, who has been open about her past struggles with weight, now aims to lose a further 6 stone at a healthier pace.
