A superfan has acquired the famous home of Doris, Gwen and Stacey's neighbour from the popular British sitcom "Gavin and Stacey." Lisa Molloy, a long-time admirer of the series, expressed her astonishment at purchasing 45 Trinity Street in Barry Island, the iconic setting.
Molloy and her husband, Chris, travelled 130 miles from Tamworth, Staffordshire, to view the property. They swiftly secured the deal within 48 hours, paying slightly more than the asking price of £220,000 for the two-bedroom terrace.
To preserve the home's on-screen appearance, the couple also purchased the furniture, including the distinctive curtains, cushions, and wallpaper. Molloy noted the surreal feeling of sitting in the same spot on the sofa previously occupied by actor Larry Lamb.
